Let's start the year with a...

...a thing.

Monday today. Public holiday. Before 9 o'clock I got me an email.

Rejection number 1 for the year. Already. A short story, submitted to an anthology, werewolf themed.

They say your start of a year is how the rest of the year will go.

I certainly hope not...

I did finish a couple of short stories in my "wrestling" series, though, taking the word count to 24000 over 8 stories. And I added some words and worked out the ending to my latest novella. Writing is cruising, as is reading (there is little else to do when stuck in a car) so it will be interesting to see how depression affects the output when that inevitably hits.

Still. The year has started.
