Some Very Good News, But Some Bad News Too
Some Very Good News,
But Some Bad News Too

Earlier today, I wrote forty-four single paragraphs for my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual. That’s forty numeric single paragraphs and four Establishing Shots. It also means I finished and ended both Tag Act One and Teaser Act Two. I probably could have done the two Establishing Acts for Act Five too, but I decided not to do that.

After all, I needed a little bit of rest after doing the forty-four. I figured writing two more Establishing Shots wouldn’t help me that much. If I could have written one or two more numeric paragraphs then it may have been better to start Act Five, but I couldn’t. so, I decided to start with the two Establishing Shots for tomorrow.

Besides, this could work in my favor for me to get another forty-four single paragraphs written tomorrow on this project. Did it earlier today. No reason I can’t do it again tomorrow. If I can do that, not only will I end Act Five, but I will have the first five scenes of Act Six finished too. Don’t know if I can do another forty-four, but I’m going to give it a try.

I probably could have gotten those two Establishing Shots and one or two numeric single paragraphs written earlier today if I didn’t have so much trouble getting started with Tag Act One earlier today at work. The first two Establishing Shots and the first numeric scene single paragraphs were too much of a problem to write, but the second numeric scene was. I must have re-written it several times before I got it written.

I’m kind of surprised that I got forty-four single paragraphs written for this Scene Outline because of that second numeric scene. After all, I only got five single paragraphs written in the first two hours of my work shift. I was getting that many in about an hour the last couple of days of writing, and that was happening on a weekday.

That only left thirty-seven more single paragraphs to finish both Tag Act One and Teaser Act Two. I don’t know how I did it, but I did. I’m just hoping that I can do the same for tomorrow. Don’t know if I can or not, but based on the last three days, I have a very good chance of doing it. However, many I get done tomorrow, I’m going to get as many of them as I can write.

That was the good news. Now for the bad news. I don’t know if what I have written will be enough for my paragraphs. They could be too many characters per line, or they could be too low. What does that mean? It means whether I handwrote forty or forty-five or somewhere in between per line to make up the number of lines for that particular scene.

The Establishing Shots should be okay, but I’m not sure if the numeric scene single paragraphs are. Unfortunately, today was a Saturday. So, I only got about six hours of sleep today. That means I won’t be able to find out if these lines are right or not until I get home from work tomorrow. If I can even get them started on then.

It depends on how tired I am and whether I’m going to start working on them or not. I know I need to do it, but I may not feel like it. My plan is to not start working on them but to finish them tomorrow. Don’t know if I can do it or not, but that’s what I’m planning on doing.
