🐌If I Disappear, Tell the police ...

A stranger is coming to dinner Saturday. Remember a few days ago I posted about the disastrous attempt to find someone to trim my toenails? Well. . . there was this one guy who responded and I ignored him. I was done with the whole mess! He was persistent and assured me he wasn't a creep. (Isn't that what most creeps say?🤔) I kinda felt sorry for him and chatted a bit. Everyone deserves a chance, right?

He's 51. A contractor who builds houses from the ground up. He was married 16 years until she cheated on him. He's definitely got some bitterness there. He says he doesn't have much of a life. Home and work. No pets, no kids. No family either. His only relative is his grandmother who raised him. She's 90 and had dementia and doesn't remember who he is. He knows how to trim toenails because he used to do it for her. He mostly loves motorcycles and horror movies.

He admitted he hasn't had a home cooked meal in years. By this time my heart is totally melted and I'm ready to adopt him as part of the family. I invited him to dinner Saturday. We agreed on chicken enchiladas and Spanish rice. I have NOT decided if he will be doing my nails. This is a "get to know you better" dinner. He did offer to give me a ride on his bike😆which I politely declined.

I don't know what it is about him but he reminds me a lot of my brothers. I feel compassionate towards him and think he's just a very hurt, lonely man. I do not get any bad vibes from him. But that's what people said about Ted Bundy and Charles Manson. 🙄So....if you don't see me on the news feed or see a follow up blog post by Monday, tell the police what I just told you! 🚔🚨
