Suspicious Brownies

Not much to write today. Typical end of the month stuff going on. I did try to surprise my husband with a batch of Spicy Dark chocolate mint brownies but he got the wrong surprise.

I had just melted the unsweetened dark chocolate and was getting stuff from the fridge. I turned just in time to catch hubby taking a huge spoonful of chocolate. All I got out was "Honey don't!" And the shocked look of disgust on his face was too priceless😆😲 I explained it wasn't sweetened yet and he said "ain't no amount of weather gonna fix that 💩."

Once the brownies were made and cooling he kept giving them suspicious, evil glares😂Im pretty sure he hasn't tried one yet. But I assure you... They are yummy! Spiced with cinnamon, cloves, ginger, red pepper flakes and Andies chocolate mints chopped up inside. Next time, I think I'll add a bit of molasses to give it a more chewey texture. These turned out more cakish.
