[An honest proposal]



I am not a soccer star.
Rather awkward my looks are.
In your love I am too far.
Will you marry me?

Though I am not well read, true.
Bank balance I don’t have, too.
We can still be one, not two.
Will you marry me?

I shall never play foul game.
I shall never give you blame.
My love will always be same.
Will you marry me?

In matters of heart I’m rich.
I won’t ask you why and which.
My love I shall never switch.
If you marry me.

I have faith in you, my dove.
I have faith in my own love.
I have faith in Him above.
He’ll bless you and me.
