Temperance

I pulled the Tarot card Temperance--seeking some insight and wisdom about the disruption in the life of my grandchildren, my son and his wife.

I received the Temperance card...and according to Meditations on the Tarot...this card represents our Guardian Angel. A hopeful card, as a sense a guardian angel protecting each one of my family.

Long ago in a meditation I received a name of my guardian angel, Eliel and haven't thought about her much. I suppose guardian angels are perhaps androgynous beings, but I like thinking of mine as female and motherly.

Joanna Colbert Powell's Gaian Tarot sees Temperance as an angelic being, a protector of artists and the creative spirit.

My personal angel is much like this but a bit older, more matronly. I suspect our Guardian Angels evolve and morph as we do, certainly the Unknown Author of Meditations suggest that is true.

I plan to create a pantheon of guardian angel art dolls to leave around for protection, and company.

And I just continue to pray...."Prayer"
