Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio is cheaper than anti-depressants and doesn't require a prescription---so I'm enjoying a glass or two of cheap pinot grigio----$3.99 at the "dent-can" store. I love going to the dent-can store. It's a liquidation grocery and you can find items that are passed their shelf-life dates or the labels are ripped, or a can is dented...or sometime there seems to be nothing wrong. We, David and I brought home bagfuls of canned fruits and veggies, organic cereals, and other goodies for $50.00----our pantry shelves are bulging!

I bought jarred RAO spagetti sauce---for 1.99----I have seen this in the gourmet markets for 8 and 9 dollars. Picked up dairy and meat at the grocery store and we are set for weeks!

The dent-can store also specializes in wine at good savings----the pinot is sharp, crisp, a little fruity----like the October mornings are beginning to be here in South Florida----humidity down----balmy up, up, up!

October is one of my favorite months----my birthday is at month's end----my first wedding was on Oct. 2....and #2 was Oct. 24....and for some reason I always remember that my first communion was on Oct. 4th....

Dave is still looking for work...but life goes on....and tonight I'll light the Shabbat candles and drink my cheap wine.
