Twittering Twits

I have just barely gotten used to the idea of blogs. Almost pure freedom of speech, when Facebook  and other social networks appeared. I have resisted assimilation but who knows for how long? "Resistance is Futile" comes to mind, especially now that Twitter is here. I really don't understand it. I'm not sure I want to understand. ( I guess fogeyism is creeping in)
