Killing time.
My response to {entry: 666930} by objurgate for Tuesday, September 8, 2009 leading entry for "Follow the Leader.

I like the Internet. I love the Internet. I kill time on the Internet. I make money on the Internet. All right, the money I make isn't a lot, it's only enough to keep gas in the Kai or my checking account from being overdrawn in the middle of the month.

I have a phone line hook-up to the Internet. It's slow as a snail racing across a garden, but it is a connection to cyberspace. It allows me to have three e-mail address, one of which I haven't checked in three days. I am going to go to DSL at the end of September. I don't have to change providers to go to DSL and I have a choice of three speeds at three different prices.

I like killing time on the Internet and when I get a faster connection, I will like it even more. I have only three social outlets. I have the Baha'i Faith. I have the Internet. I have poetry reading. Those are my only social outlets. Life is good!

Life will be even better with a faster connection to the Internet. A faster connection is less stressful. All right, I know DSL isn't perfect, but that's all right because nothing on the material plane of existence is perfect. Perfection is a spiritual attribute. Perfection is the goal a person works toward.

Browsing cyberspace
outside the world moves toward
unknown mysteries.
