Eight years with writing.com and in that time I have went through a great many changes and learned a great deal about writing. I have also learned much about my talent and myself.

I became a member of writing.com on October 31, 2002. At that time I was working at the College of Southern Nevada. That wasn't the name of CCSN then, it was called the Community College of Southern Nevada. I was working in the computer lab at that time; it was a slow day, so we had time to surf between cleaning monitors and keyboards.

I encountered stories.com by accident. I read the information and decided to join. Join was a spur of the moment decision. The membership was free and it seemed like a good idea. My gut feeling told me to join. I need to follow my gut feeling more often because it keeps me out of trouble and leads to good opportunities.
