I cooked all the chicken legs today
Jalál (Glory), 13 Baha (Splendor), 168 BE – Saturday, April 2, 2011 about 3:42 PM Pacific Time
Last Sunday a friend brought a package of chicken legs over and I cooked them all today. We will not eat them all today, but they are cooked and I can fix them two at a time in the next day or two. Tomorrow, I will fry the rest of the potatoes and warm up two chicken legs.
Sometimes I am leery about cooking a large amount of food because it is difficult for us to finish before it spoils. However, chicken and beef are different because we will eat those foodstuffs up in a few days rather then a couple of weeks.
Mom does not eat a large meal at one time instead; she eats all day a little at a time. I have to make sure she has enough of a variety to keep her interested in the food. Mom could eat some foods all day long without difficulty. Peanut butter is one of those foods. Chocolate is another. I do not mind her eating peanut butter all day; however, chocolate is a different story because too much is not good for her.
