Falling
*ButterflyO*

He met himself again and again until none could forget who he'd been, not even himself. KE

Falling

Falling,
         falling,
                   leaf falling
from the ficus
and the forgetting of the branch,
leaf, root and twig of it,
the other leaves.

Slow motion
in the stillness of a memory:
emotion lost,
all sound erased,
still-framed forgetfulness,
broken remains of an august day.

Past autumn-fall and more piles of leaves,
piles of snow, the march of melt,
green-growing springs.
Nothing felt
until Leaf reattached itself.

In a sweet reunion found in a mirror,
he met once more who once he was;
felt it warmth,
and smiled.

*Idea*

For Jacob Wilson who smiled for hours once he regained emotions severed from memory. He was detached from emotions for over 2 years.

*Reading*

Always Emily ...still and poetry in Spanish. Nothing new at the moment.

*Sun* A few rays and much warmer than forecast! *Shock*
