“Oh, No!”

My mother’s latest phrase is “Oh, no.” I have no idea what she is referring to when she says “Oh, no.” When I hear the phrase, I ask if there is a problem. There is no problem, at least on one Mom is willing to talk about. I ask if she is in pain or sick, apparently not. I ask if she has to go to the bathroom, she always says no and I find out later that this is sometimes true and sometimes false.
I have no idea why Mom says “Oh, no” any more then I know why she cries or says “crap.” I know when I do those things then there is a problem, but Mom usually does not give me a hint about the problem, if there is a problem.
Mom started using this phrase in the past couple of weeks. I think she started using it after they began redecorating the bathroom; so it may have something to do with that. However, Mom says “Oh, no” when the workers are not in the house. I would like to know why she is saying “Oh, no,” but she will not tell me and if I persist in the questioning she gets angry.
