Have poetry reading tonight and I'm stressing as I don't know what to read.

I'd rather be out playing with my new camera, a ZS8 Panasonic Lumix. I already got a great sunset photo, love the zoom, love the clarity of close-up. So... what does the ZS9 have that the 8 doesn't?

Hmm.

Y'all going to hafta suffer more and better photos.

Slowly working on my list of things I need to buy. Bought 10 reams of paper... time to enter, edit and print out all my poems from the last two years. The box weighed so much (it was only 20 lb paper) I had to make more than one trip to get it up my 42 steps. 5,000 nice 96-bright pieces of paper. But, I have over 5,000 sketches...

Yesterday was a lovely day. Today has clouded up. 65 degrees though, which is the warmest since last October. No complaints there!

Ate a spaghetti- meatball cupcake yesterday at Bernice's Bakery... put a photo on facebook but didn't tell anyone what it was. But I'll tell you:

The meatball is a mini coconut macaroon and the red sauce is raspberry. And it was very very good. Anyhoo, 4 down and 12 to go. Cupcake Maynia goes to the end of ... May.
