Blogging more... not better... just more :-)

ME:

Yeah... can't say my blogs have been anything but personal drivel; but, at least I'm driveling. LOL

Have made it here more days than not. Now... just need to do more note taking for my nature blog and remember to add and edit sketches to my plog... the ones in English at least. Writing has been off, but I'm still writing occasionally and can easily catch up with goals.

Part of my problem is that my goals are daily: write in my journal daily, facebook daily, write sketches daily, take photos daily... I don't get a day off. So when I don't do my daily chores I feel guilty. Yet, I can say that there are very few writers I know who adhere to more rigorous objectives. Fortunately, they are more talented and disciplined ...I struggle with low-energy and self-esteem.

Because I don't have the academic qualifications some may think I don't matter in the world of writing. And maybe I don't. But in the WORLD, I matter to someone... those who I love, those who I write for, those who somehow are inspired or educated by me. It's what I do.

And I'm not payed to do it.

And in a world that is driven by monetary exchange that may be part of the problem too.

Anyhoo... I didn't sit down to write this particular blog. Today was dreary. I wrote a poem in Spanish. I cooked a meal. I had a peanut-butter and chocolate cupcake. I drank monsoon malabar coffee. This morning...
