Snowfall ...Thornhill's song sung by Doris Day
A musical entry:

The theme song of Claude Thornhill's band (1941). The big band version:

Doris Day singing:

To say the lyrics are simple is not an overstatement:

Snowfall...
Snowfall...
Glistening snowfall
Snowflakes falling
Winter calling

Frozen lace, every place
Down they come
Twirling, tumbling
Lightly, brightly
Lovely snowfall

Lightly, brightly
Lovely snowfall
Lovely snowfall

Maxine Sullivan (1911-1987) sings this Thornhill swinging version of Loch Lomond:

I remember hearing her sing it on TV when she was in her 70s.

ME:

Not feeling well so I didn't go to the potluck at Ginny's. Stayed home. I'm definitely in a shutdown mood; but, I always crawl out of it.

Will go get a coffee, read The Etiquette of Freedom with the writers Gary Snyder and Jim Harrison. It was in my satchel when I left the writing group at Ben's and I suspect it is Leah's or Ben's. It's not mine!
