Goosing the muse.
Somehow this blog-challenge round has inspired Snow to a whole new level. I've been reading her blogs for years; but, this time she's using a style that reminds me of haibun and it's working! The phrase "goosing my muse" comes from a recent entry.

I can highly recommend reading a few recent entries;

me:

Planning trips can be frustrating at times. My connection with Chris on Skype was sketchy so we had to use messaging at facebook. Over an hour for what should've taken 10 minutes. Very frustrating. But we seem to be moving forward on connecting.

Other good news: I'm fairly sure I have two keys for my place and keys for more than just the one entry gate. That means I don't have to rush get a copy. Doing odd errands costs more time. I really don't have time for running around. It drains me emotionally.

Rent is paid. Electric bill is paid ($11). I have enough money left over to get to San José without going to a bank. Having extra will help me on the way back. This is good.

Nose in the book about Bergen. Because my trip begins there I want to be somewhat prepared. I can go over plans and tweak them on the plane. I'm not worried about Trondheim, Oslo or Sweden yet as there are bus rides and train rides and other quiet moments to figure things out.

Met someone from Lithuania today. Erika speaks English very well. Her companion not as good... Adam is from Göteborg, Sverige. He told me about the West End, Järntorget and Slottskogen. I hadn't planned on staying in Göteborg but I shan't be disappointed if I have to. I spoke in my mangled Norwegian... he understood me... there is hope.

So many options. Once I'm on the plane and then on the road I'll be fine.

And my writing? Maybe this will "goose my Muse".
