The April 26, 2013 prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS"  is
Today is Hug a Friend day. Which Friend would you like to give a hug to the most and why?

Which friend would I hug today?
One who is far away,
who I haven's seen since I was seventeen
or one who is nearby
who I can call when I want to cry.

Friends come and go like the winter snow
touched by spring's warm sunshine,
while their memories bring us joy
like rain in summertime.

Which friend shall I hug today?
All of them are far away
in time
if not in space;
for each I will say a prayer,
thus sending a spiritual hug.
