Dream Cast for my Book and Reflections of June, so far...
Today's blogs...

Blog City – Day 101 – June 12

Prompt: Your book is a movie. Who is your dream cast?

Okay if I was doing my current Nano novel in progress. I would need at least 4 characters - lead male and female as well as secondary male and female - this could actually help bring them more into focus.
For my leading lady - Julianna Guill
For my leading man - Alex Pettyfer
For my secondary lady - Amber Tamblyn
For my secondary man - Chris Hemsworth – for his muscles; Seth Rogan for his looks.
I am focusing on looks here as I am not sure about some of these actors and actresses. In my mind my secondary man could actually more like Seth Rogan (he gives me the creepies though and has not done any movies I like).

Border for my personal use.

30 Day Blogging Challenge

Part I: Again today's prompt is not yet posted and the person scheduled to create it has not posted to the site as yet, so I am going to take this as a day of reflection.

June. How is June going for everyone? For me, I am finding it a little sluggish. Part of that is due to my allergies - that have me wanting to curl up and nap my days away and part is feeling a dullness on my writing. The motivation is low.

For JuNoWriMo - I am at 13, 515 words (which does sound good - until I realize I should be at 20,000 by the end of today if I was following the writing regiment of 1667 words a day. I have had 2 really good days - getting in over 2000 words, but the rest of the days have been lacking - accomplishing my 750 word minimum goal for the day. I still believe I will pull it off. I am rebelling this year anyway - doing short pieces, blogs and working on my Nano novel from last November. This way I am able to get stuff done here at Writing.com as well.
I have completed two weeks of I Write - June, July and August. The first week I submitted 3 sonnets I had been working on in May to The Perfect Sonnet contest. The second week I won with a little 300 word or less entry to the Daily Flash Fiction contest (there were only 3 entries but I still feel good - the piece was quite funny).

I have a chance to do another campfire write with my Game of Thrones group and I want to, but will I be able to do it justice? - I am still considering.

Then there is supply teaching - the year is winding down - only 11 more days, I believe. That means the kids are getting anxious to get it done and get on with summer making classroom management for a supply person crazy. Though I want the work I am feeling a little skittish about taking a class in a school I am not familiar with. If I was not dealing with allergies that leave me bagged I would have more energy to handle any potential chaos. Don't get me wrong - many classes and schools are lovely - but it is a roll of the dice for some classes.
