I have been taking Buddy for walks lately and I have been seeing another side of him that I am having a hard time appreciating. My previous entry was about him lying down on the job. He has taken it to the next level and decides that he can not walk again. "Poor Buddy", and he looks at me with a big grin on his face as he lies down in the grass. No amount of pleading can get him up. Sharon feels bad for the poor dog. Due to medication issues she can not take him out herself when it is sunny. She talks to me about the heat of the sidewalk on his poor tootsies. There are days that my patience is tested and this one was one of them. I call him and he does not come. I tell him it is time to go home and he lies on his back encouraging me to rub his belly. What is next?
