Summer Songs Of 2014 & Politics

Blog City – Day 226

Prompt: Twenty years from now, what song will remind you of the summer of 2014?

Off hand, I have absolutely no idea. These days when I do an early supply day and follow it with an extra four hours with my client afterward, I am burnt. They are easier to do when I am working full time and have built my stamina but when I supply I find I have not built up my usual ability to push through.

Coming back to this hours later after working with my client and I don't feel quite as whipped as my afternoon slump. These are the songs I picked:

Stronger by Mandisa and Speak Life by Toby Mac. Both inspire and raise me up so that I can give back and that is what it is all about.

Border for my personal use.

Today's topic seems to have gone into the realm of politics.

As we have a municipal election coming up I should be considering my options, but I find municipal elections to be the ultimate in boring and I don't understand the ballot. Awful to admit. I vote Federally and Provincially but municipal elections are confusing... you vote for more than one person - one for Mayor, then one for your Ward and one Regional Counsellor. I think. Who knows. I know I should get some interest up but all I can see is the litter of all those stupid signs all over the place. Because of all the extra people there are more damn signs. It annoys me.
