Day 77 of My 95-Day Gratitude Challenge

This afternoon I am grateful that my Bank of America Checking account is not overdrawn today.

This afternoon I am thankful that I have exceeded my minimum word count goal everyday for the past three days.

This afternoon I am grateful that I had two chicken breast to cook with the semi-homemade soup I am making for supper.

This afternoon I am thankful that I received a gift box of pancake mix today. It contained gingerbread, maple walnut, and apple with a container of real maple syrup. I think I will fix myself some pancakes on my birthday to go with the fresh ground coffee from the coffee beans i purchased for myself.

This afternoon I am grateful that I received a box of strawberry Twinkies when Sheena and I went to one of the food pantries this afternoon. I tasted one of the Twinkies and I was right when I decided not purchase them in the store. I do not care for the flavor; I will eat them if they are given to me, but I will not purchase them for myself.

We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. Albert Schweitzer

This evening I am thankful that the Clark Count Library on East Flamingo does not open until 10:00 am because it allows me to get some writing or other work accomplished before I leave the house.

I am grateful when I push myself to accomplish reviewing, writing, or doing housework because I feel better after I complete the project even though I am tired when I started the project.
