Almost two weeks of fetching and carrying, being chief cook and bottle washer as well as waitressing and running around like a blue bottomed fly and I see little progress in hubby's condition. Everyone assures me his knee will be less swollen and painful in time, but how much time I'm beginning to wonder. Apart from a painful descent down the stairs in the morning and a repeat return at night, there is very little mobility on his part. I have noticed however, that when I go out for a short while, shopping or just for a walk to clear my head, or spend any time upstairs mysterious things happen. I'm a neat freak by nature so I know I wouldn't leave empty cheese wrappers on the kitchen table or bottles of glue lying around in the lounge. Is it a case of Little Britain I wonder?
