Advice & Childhood Shows

Welcome To My Reality - Week Eighty - One

2. What piece of advice do you wish you had been given as a child or young adult and why?

Don't waste you time on doing nothing. Volunteer and get work experience... don't take your summers to do nothing. Work. Learn to manage your time efficiently. Get out there and take some risks - go to teacher's college earlier. Do a work study somewhere. Take a year to teach... in Australia and maybe another place... like China. Having a varied work experience and having traveled to gain some of that experience will add to my character. Maybe if I had been more 'go get 'um' I would be in a different place right now.

3. What television series from your childhood would you love to bring back?

This is not really from my childhood... before my time, but I lived in northern Ontario so we were seeing reruns of The Dick Van Dyke show. The show originally ran from 1961 to June of 1966. I was born after that.
I watched an episode on Youtube Two days ago and could not stop laughing. The funny is in the quality writing... not in all the special effects. Besides watching this as an adult is even funnier.
