This article, by John Katsilometes of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, describes the appearance of Oscar Goodman, former Las Vegas mayor and defense attorney for "some of the leading organized crime figures in Las Vegas"2, at Oscar's Beef Booze & Broads. Mr. Goodman gave a talk, entitled “The Hidden Owners of Las Vegas," before ninety guest at his steakhouse on The Plaza. The former mayor begin his talk with a question "Where's my rat?" and, after a steakhouse employee handed him a rubber rat, proceeded to explain his definition of rat. On a side note, the present Mayor Carolyn Goodman is Oscar's wife.
