The Road of Life

I am on the road of life
walking paths of joy and strife
each day another battle I fight,
another adventure I see
and another poem I write.

I am on the road of life
walking toward paradise
with God's Glory by my side
in safety I will always abide.

What kind of music would I choose?
I really enjoy listening to blues,
I also enjoy rock and roll
and music that speaks to my soul;
something eclectic
or even electric
that makes me laugh
and sing
while the band plays on.

Rainbows Dance

Rainbows dance across my path
as I hasten to my goal
each color a part of faith's spectrum,
a shade among the crayons of life
that I can pick in its own turn
as I climb the mountains of test.
