What are some things you would put in a time capsule to be opened up one, twenty, and/or fifty years from now that shows the person you are today?

Time Capsule

In my time capsule
I will place
all the stories and poems
I've written to be open
and a 30.5 oz canister
of Folgers black silk coffee,
with instructions on the outside
of the time capsule
"Please do not open me
until 2067."

An Awesome Day

Today is an awesome day
what else can I say
except to tell you how it got that way:
I woke up alive
and reciting a morning prayer;
when I picked up my Senior commodities
I noticed a can of "beef with juice"
one of my favorite things to eat.

Any day can be happy,
any day can be awesome,
because both emotions are up t o me.

Not Imperfections

I look at what I once called imperfections,
inadequacies that I,
in my immaturity,
thought made me unlovable,
but now I realize
they are just a sign
of my humanity,
of my duality.

I am a dual natured creature.
I have both a physical body and a soul.
My imperfections are just my lower nature
making itself known.
