I think the only animal trait I would want, if it really exists and isn't a myth, is teleportation. I don't know if other "cat parents" have noticed this, but when I had cats I could swear they could teleport themselves from one room to the other. This may have been an illusion generated by cats ability to move at near light speed when they hear a can opener or a food dish being filled. If cat teleportation doesn't exist then I want the ability to move at near light speed. Whichever ability I got would probably disappear when I was ready to return home, but I think I could deal with that possibility.
