"30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS [13+]
We are always learning. What are you learning now?

These weeks I am learning things on two fronts. I just am finishing the last week of an eight-week winter course The Grammar Garden by New Horizons Academy. And I am participating in Pursue the Horizon, a monthly blogging challenge on poems we love to read.

The grammar course was awesome. I learned a lot of basic grammar on nouns, pronouns, verbs, prepositions, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, and interjections. Since I last took English grammar in high school decades ago it was a challenge but I loved the assignments and did very well so far.

In the poetry blogging challenge I am discovering old and new poems by poets I learn to admire and to love. It is awesome to start the day by browsing through poetry in books and online and find such treasures at my disposal. Reading other writers' choices for the day is a totally overwhelming experience as well since my knowledge of American and English poetry is somewhat limited. But I am learning every day and utterly enjoy the experience. *Heart*

Today’s choice is Gertrude Stein. She is reciting herself. Picasso’s art is about her and Picasso. Total genius!
