Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: My Home Town"

My hometown is St.Mary's WV. I grew up just outside of town in a place that now bears my family name. It wasn't much other than a hillside and a valley but there was 298 acres of it for me to roam. I had four brothers and four sisters so my mom and dad had to have lots of room. I enjoyed my years there except for the winters which were often pretty rough. We had four major hills between us and town and the snow in the winter made passage difficult at best. There wasn't much to my hometown. It's still a very small town but most of my family still lives there. I moved to Barboursville WV about three years ago and have since made a life here. St. Mary's didn't offer a whole lot because industry had filled up and there were really no jobs there.

Blog City image small "Prompt: What if suddenly you are not able to see ahead of you (actually or psychologically)? Is it smoke, fog, haze, or something else?"

I have had plenty of times when I could not see what was right in front of me psychologically. I often tell my friends that they are my eyes and ears and I am not offended if somebody points out a blind spot for me. At least I am not offended for long.
