Sorry you're not enjoying your life more. Things change; that's the one certainty. We just can't always control the how and when. Hang in there.

Glad you explained the muggle boring thing; I've not gotten into the Harry Potter craze.

My life is pretty muggle boring too and my will to write at an all time low. I doubt that will alter with the approach of winter.

I empathise about wanting to move and being stuck. It's no inspiration for housework and probably too late for me now. But I hope you get your wish eventually.

Sounds like the animals are keeping you amused at least. I know what you mean about life feeling stale.

Now if I win the Lottery....

I can see you becoming quite the football fan before long. Maybe even a cheerleader!

The new role sounds interesting and hopefully will give you the motivation you need for your own writing. Lack of time I know all about, but sadly have no answers.

A writing partner can be most inspiring. I think some of my best writing came about when Nada and I wrote our series here on WDC.

Having worked in a school I know how hard the kitchen staff work and how underrated they can be.

Colds always arrive at the most inappropriate times, but I hope you'll soon be rid of it. I'm paranoid about them now after having so many this year.

Rest up when you can and write when you're recovered.

Well I LOVE football and I recognize enthusiasm when I see it! Well done, Kyle! This is going to be a fun year for all of you. And by the end of it, maybe you and your hubby can sit and watch some games together on t.v. and get just as excited. Haha.

I hate watching sports in general, but when my kids were playing that was whole different ballgame!

I agree with Kay. I can't abide most sports on TV, but a live game is much different and if your own child is involved then it';s only natural to feel excited and proud.

Sounds like you have every reason to be proud of him too.

Televised sports and live sporting events are worlds apart in my opinion, and when your kid is one of the players, that is something else entirely, so I don't think you are a hypocrite at all. Just a rightfully proud mother.
