Jamál (Beauty), 1 Jamál (Beauty) 176 B.E. - Sunday, April 28, 2019 Feast of Beauty "O Son of Man! Veiled in My immemorial being and in the ancient eternity of My essence, I knew My love for thee; therefore I created thee, have engraved on thee Mine image and revealed to thee My beauty." Baha'u'llah,3 Today, Sunday, April 28, is the Feast Day of Beauty. Last night, before going to sleep I read some of The Hidden Words and said prayers revealed by The Bab, Baha'u'llah, and 'Abdu'l-Baha. I miss going to the community Feast, but reading more of the Holy Scriptures on the evening of the Feast helps refocus my energies, while helping me to sleep. In addition, it helped me compose a prayer-poem asking Baha'u'llah for assistance. Baha'u'llah, on this the Feast Day of the Month of Beauty, I supplicate your assistance to compose poems and prose dedicated to The Bab. Footnotes |
