War shall cease between nations, and by the will of God the Most Great Peace shall come; the world will be seen as a new world, and all men will live as brothers." Help them, O God, in their endeavor, and grant them strength to serve Thee. O God! Leave them not to themselves, but guide their steps by the light of Thy knowledge, and cheer their hearts by Thy love. Verily, Thou art their Helper and their Lord." Bahá’u’lláh2 Footnotes |
Istijlál (Majesty), 1 Mashíyyat (Will) 175 B.E. - Thursday, September 27, 2018 Feast of Mashíyyat (Will) The Feast Day of Will reminds me to contemplate the purpose of existence. Reminds me to ask: What is the will of God? And to look for the answer in the sacred scriptures. Reminds me to meditate on the primal will of the Almighty that is reflected through Baha'u'llah, the Gory of God and the Pen of Glory. The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" Day 1746 Friends give us the courage to lift the blinds on our hearts, to open up and show what we generally keep hidden from the rest of the world. With this in mind, write something about friends. Friends Fragrance of hyacinths Rise from blossoms of acquaintance. Individual differences enhance Experiences of comradeship. Neither time nor distance Dims the light of kinship Shining in the hearts of friends. The "Blogging Circle of Friends " Day 2139 The moon is full in the sky on this lovely autumn night when you hear distinctly make a wish. Do you make the wish or ignore the voice and rule it off to a dream. If you do hear, what wish do you make? Make a Wish Instead of making a wish, I would say a prayer of gratitude for the beauty of the Full Corn Moon3. Also known as the Barley Moon. The September Full Moon is usually bright and beautiful. It shines down on the Earth shedding the sun's reflected light on field and garden, city and town. If it appears close to the Autumnal Equinox, it becomes the Harvest Moon, which shines so bright that the farmers can bring in their crops at night. Footnotes |
