A Talibani, desperate for water, was plodding through the Afghan desert when he saw something far off in the distance.

Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the spot only to find a Gujarati selling ties of different kinds..

Talibani asked, "Do you have water..?"

The Gujarati replied, "There is no water here, the well is dry. Would you like to buy a tie instead..? They are only $10."

The Talibani shouted, "You idiot..! I do not need an over-priced tie. I need water..! I could kill you, but I must find water first..!"

"OK," said the Gujarati, "It does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie and that you hate me. I will show you that I am a much better human being than you. If you continue over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find a British Army Officers' Mess. It has all the ice cold water & food you need."

Cursing him, the Talibani staggered away over the hill.

Several hours later he staggered back, collapsed with dehydration & gasped ....

"They won't let me in without a tie..!"😂😂😂😃😃😃

Luxury is not getting treatment from the most expensive hospital in USA.

Luxury is *being healthy.*

🙂

Luxury is not going on a cruise and eating food prepared by a renowned chef.

Luxury is *eating fresh organic food grown in your own backyard*.

🙂

Luxury is not having an elevator in your house.

Luxury is *the ability to climb 3-4 stories of stairs without difficulty.*

🙂

Luxury is not the ability to afford a huge refrigerator.

Luxury is *the ability to eat freshly cooked food 3 times a day.*

🙂

Luxury is not having a home theatre system and watching the Himalayan expedition.

Luxury is *physically experiencing the Himalayan expedition*.
🙂

In the 60s a Car was a luxury.
In the 70s a Television was a luxury.
In the 80s a Telephone was a luxury.
In tge 90s a Computer was a luxury...

So what is a Luxury now??

*Being healthy, being happy, being in a happy marriage, having a loving family, being with loving friends , living in an unpolluted place*

All these things have become rare.
And these are the real " *luxury* ".

Written by a confident lady ...😄

After a meeting, I was coming out of a hotel and I was looking for my car keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room, it wasn't there too.

Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car.

My husband has shouted many times for leaving the keys in the ignition.

My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them .......
His theory is the car will be stolen if left at the ignition key slot !

Immediately, I rushed to the parking lot and came to a terrifying conclusion .....
His theory was right. The parking lot was empty 😱😞😞.

I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, description of the car, place I parked, etc. I equally confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that the car had been stolen.

Then I made the most difficult call of all, to my husband,
I left my keys in the car .... and it has been stolen."

There was a big silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard his voice.
"Idiot", he shouted, "I dropped you at the hotel !"

Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, and happy as well, I said, "Well, then pls come and get me."

He shouted again, "I will, as soon as I convince this policeman, that I have not stolen your car." 😁😁

Don't laugh alone 😄😄😅😅😂😂

Send to other husbands or wives because ....
So many things go wrong daily, and you can't blame yourself all the times 😊😆

To commemorate her birthday, actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP. One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favorite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of Music'. Here are the lyrics she used:

*Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,*
*Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,*
*Bundles of magazines tied up in string,*
*_These are a few of my favorite things_*

*Cadillacs and cataracts,* *hearing aids and glasses,*
*Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,*
*Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,*
*_These are a few of my favorite things._*

*When the pipes leak, When the bones creak,*
*When the knees go bad,*
*I simply remember my* *favorite things,*
*And then I don't feel so bad.*

*Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,*
*No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,*
*Bathrobes and heating* *pads and hot meals they bring,*
*_These are a few of my favorite things._*

*Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinnin',*
*Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',*
*And we won't mention our short shrunken frames,*
*_When we remember our favorite things._*

*When the joints ache, When the hips break,*
*When the eyes grow dim,*
*Then I remember the great life I've had,*
*And then I don't feel so bad.*

_Ms. Andrews received a standing ovation from the crowd_
_that lasted over four minutes and repeated encores. Please_
_share Ms. Andrews' clever wit and humor with others who_
_would appreciate it_ 🎶 🎵 🎤

'The Treasure of our Home does not come from Outside'

This saying of 'different paths' is a misunderstanding, in my view. Take the tree as an example: consciousness is divided in its outer aspects, like the twigs and leaves. Already the bigger branches are more unified. When we reach the trunk we find total integration and strength.

So it is with different approaches - the more they are divided, the more they pertain to the outside mind. That is the realm of religions, of teachings to stimulate emotions and faith. But if we remain there, no real power can be found and there is still a lot of division and opposition. To reach the unified trunk, all inner practices are needed and all differences disappear inasmuch as they are applied. That is how i define spiritual practice, in contrast to emotional and philosophical perceptions of religion.

It all depends on our aim: do we understand that the human condition is limited by its fragmentations? Do we learn from suffering and aspire to get transformed? Then we will love to 'pay the price of a restricted practice', in order to reach the trunk, we restrict outer intake and cultivate samadhi and find unbounded freedom from body, mind, and personality. That ultimate state we can call God.

Discipline again: the best example is music. In order to play together, musicians have to find one tune. There is orderliness without coercion or violence. But chaos without this oneness.

Not an outer philosophy, but you and your position count. Can you guide your own powers to the heart? Or are you only emotionally or intuitively stimulated? Can you guide the little shark of seeking the outer back to the heart? Then you are your own path and no outer is too important. Outer teachings remain outside. As they say in Japan. 'What comes from outside is not the treasure of the Home.'

Every day early morning this little girl would come to the Church and stand before the Lord, close her eyes and with folded hands, murmur something for a couple of minutes. Then open her eyes, bow down, smile at Christ's statue and go out running.
This was a daily affair.
The Priest was observing her and was curious about what she was doing.
He thought, she is too small to know the deeper meanings of religion, she would hardly know any prayers.
But then what was she doing every morning in the Church?
Fifteen days passed and Father now couldn’t resist but to find out more about her behaviour.
One morning, Father reached the Church before the girl and was waiting for her to complete her ritual.
He placed his hand on her head and said, “My child, I have seen since the last fifteen days that you come here regularly. What do you do?”
“I pray, father.” She said spontaneously.
“Do you know any prayers?” asked the father with some suspicion in his voice.
“…No father.” replied the girl.
“Then what are you doing closing your eyes, every day?” Father smiled.
Very innocently the girl said, “Father, I do not know any prayer, but I know a,b,c,d….up to z. I recite it five times and tell God that I don’t know your prayer, but it cannot be outside of these alphabets. Please arrange the alphabets as you wish and that is my prayer.”
And she ran, jumping her way out of the Church.
Priest stood there dumbstruck, staring at her for a long time as she disappeared running in the wilderness.
Do we have such unconditional belief in our prayers ?

1. Your dream house, dream car, dream life, bank balance, business shall all turn to dust if your nation does not stand
2. Your assets are valueless if your country has no asset
3. You can become a refugee in minutes if your leaders sell you off and flee away

Moral of the story: Build your Nation….. choose strong leadership….. Instead of looking for freebies from leaders and voting for those who bring you free goods choose a leader who will stand to protect you……. Remember your country is your family and you need a father who teaches you to grow and beats you to go to school….. Dont choose a leader who comes for a season with gifts bought by the money saved in your own piggy bank.
