Hi I'm JoTo.
What's your name?

Would you like to hear about a child that killed a giant?
Do you want to hear a story about a child whose dreams came true?
Have you ever been to Bible School ?

I just started. My Aunt Mable takes me.
It is so much fun. There's a bunch of other people my age there. We play games and Put together puzzles.
We hear stories about kids Just like you, That lived a while ago?
Best of all, We Hear the Greatest stories.
True stories about kids and families, and God.

Would you like to go?

Come on, I'll tell you all about it.
You'll like it is fun.

We hear stories about kids that prayed for God’s help. They became great leaders with the help of God.

I didn't know kids could pray to God.

Do you know that you can pray?

I didn't know until I learned it at Bible School.

God listens to the prayers of kids just as much as the grown ups.
You can pray as much as you want to.

To pray All you have to do is talk to God. You can even pray with your mind. Without talking.
You can't see God though. He's not like us. He is everywhere all the time.God Always hears you Pray.

We heard a story about two brothers.

Cain and Abel.
Cain was very jealous of Able. They got into an awful fight.

We learned about Noah. A man that built a big boat.
Big enough to hold two of every type of animal.

Noah Trusted God, He did what God told him to do.

God told him to build a boat because a great flood was coming.
Noah warned the people that a flood was coming.

The people did not believe in God.
They laughed at him for building a boat on dry land.

Noah kept building the boat.

God told him how to build a boat big enough for his family and all the animals.
A male and female of every species.
Noah Trusted God.
When he finished, the animals came and got on the boat.
Building a boat on dry land. Then filling it up with animals. The other people laughed.

What do you think happened next?
You're right, It started raining. Soon The boat was floating.
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights.

God made the Rainbow as a promise not to let it rain that much again.

Would you build a boat on land?
If God told me to, I think I would.

Do you know that even kids can pray to God?
Praying is fun .
Secrets between you and God. You can tell God anything.
Would you like to have a best friend that always hears you?
God can be your best friend.
God Listens to everything you tell him.
Praying always makes you feel better .
Especially when you are really sad.

Joseph was a boy whose
Dreams
Came true.

When Joseph was young he had dreams about his brothers bowing down to him. He told his father and brothers his dreams.

He had a lot of brothers. His brothers didn't like his
dreams.

Joseph's father Israel made him a coat of many colors.
His brother's were jealous that their dad made him a coat.

Joseph was taken from his family and made a slave in a foreign land. He didn't get mad. He trusted God
And prayed regularly.

Years went by. Joseph dreamed of being reunited with his family.

He was Rewarded for trusting God. Joseph became governor of the whole land.
Do you know what happened after he became governor?

A terrible famine came over the land. The gardens couldn't grow. The people were
running out of food.
Do you think Joseph had food?
Do you think he had enough for everybody?

God had told him In dreams that a drought would come. He should store up food so the people wouldn't starve.

Joseph trusted God. He knew that God had a reason for taking him away from his family.

Did you know dreams could be so important?
Did you know God can talk to you through dreams ?

I didn't until I went to Bible School.

Joseph's family came to buy food. They all bowed down to the governor.
Just as Joseph had dreamed as a child.

They did not recognize Joseph, who was their lost brother.
Joseph Recognized them. He did not tell them at first.

He prayed for God's help.
Finally he Revealed himself.
His brothers could not believe it was Joseph, their long lost brother.
They thought they would never see him again.

Joseph was reunited with his family, just as he had dreamed.
They were all happy.

Do you ever dream when you sleep?

I do sometimes.

We heard a story about Moses.
When he was a baby he was put in a little boat on a river.
A princess found him. She raised him.

Moses was raised a prince.
Later he found out who his real parents were.
He went to live with them as a Slave, and no longer wanted to be a prince. He trusted God.
Moses knew that God had a reason for taking him from his family.
God made Moses a powerful leader.

A savior To Deliver his people from slavery. He led his people back to the land God had promised their fathers.

God knows everything.
God knows your needs before you do. God works in mysterious ways. They may be unclear to us when they happen.
In time his ways are revealed. Then we can understand.

Sometimes we go through really bad times .
Those hard times help to make us stronger and grateful for what we have.

The Bible is full of great stories like these. True stories about our ancestors who lived before us.
Another story tells us about a little boy who killed a big giant with his slingshot.

David was just a little Shepherd boy who tended his dad's sheep. He Learned to be good with his slingshot.
He had to keep Predators away from the Sheep.
David's country had been invaded by a fierce enemy, they were at war.
His brothers were in the army.

The enemy had a huge giant that challenged anyone in the army to fight him. No one would accept his challenge. He was a scary Giant.
Would you fight a huge giant? I guess I would if God told me to. Wouldn't you?

David was sent to take supplies to his brothers. He heard the Giant yelling out his challenge. David could not believe no one would accept the challenge.

He thought, God will help me kill this giant Who is mocking God.

”I will accept the challenge.” David said.

His brothers tried to talk him out of it. They thought he was crazy to be so small and go up against such a large giant.

The little boy David accepted the challenge of the Giant Goliath.
The giant laughed when the little boy accepted his challenge.
David said “for mocking God. God will help me kill you. I will cut off your head.” So he did.

The giant's army Was unprepared for this defeat and they began to run.

David helped as they chased the Giants invading Army from their land.

The little Shepherd boy David later With God's help became A great and powerful King.

Bible school is so much fun. You will love it. Do you want to come ?

Learning about God and the Bible is so much fun. Best of all it's True stories about real people that lived just like me and you .

To pray All you have to do is talk to God.

God will always be there For you. In the bad times. In the good times too. Don't pray like you would to Santa Claus.
God already knows what you need. You don't have to tell her.
Just tell him that you love him. Ask him to Help you to always do your best.
Do you know how to pray?

You can pray as much as you want to.

You can pray anytime. You can even pray with your mind, without talking.
God likes you to pray. It is OK if you don't close your eyes, or if you don't kneel on your knees.

No one else needs to know when you're praying. God will know.
God always hears you. God loves kids.

Do you know that you can even pray for your grown up Self.

Your prayers might help your grown up self. I Don't think they could hurt anything.

What do you think?

You can pray for your friends , your parents or anyone. You don't have to tell them.
Only You and God need to know.

You can pray for me too, if you want .
Everyone can use a little help from God.
I'll pray for you too.
God please help my friends to always do their best, and be all they can be. Please Bless them all. Amen

You'll love Bible School.
You'll love the bible stories too.
I know you will.

Have fun hearing Bible stories and learning to pray.
God bless.

See you later.
