Hi ☺️ 🐭🐁, with so many getting awards for fantasy glad you got one for reality 🎉! I get How you feel and see the same types of life reflections in my own mind's mirror. Up till 2 years ago, had an awesome counselor. Knew her for about 6 years or so.
Since we moved to Mississippi good luck with having someone like that!...
I'm glad you write about what's real, good or bad. You express how many people feel and don't always have the strength to write.

My spirit animal is a deer. I love Kristy Parker without the s at the end. Here is another idea. Take your chapter book, download it to your computer or wherever you keep stuff, removing it from WdC. Then you won't always be looking at it and possibly bringing it up then sitting staring at it. Do that with any other unfinished stuff. Give yourself a fresh start. I find writing very simple poems rewarding. I just copy the rhyming schemes of other poems I read because there are way too many types of poems. I am not good at it, but it doesn't take much time or deep thought to write. I took a couple of my things that I just never liked off and feel I did myself a favor not risking someone reviewing them when like you said they were crap. I am great at giving out advice when I need to take some of my own advice which includes writing more consistently. Good luck!

I agree that the more you think about how you should be writing, the less likely it is for you to sit down and do it. I would hate to restart something I had started. Much down the road you can heavily edit it. I think you can just write without any mind to grammar/spelling/editing. It doesn't have to be perfect or even all of it will you keep. Maybe focus on something else that gives you pleasure. Maybe a group you belong to or just blogging. I think you say a lot in very few words so that is a plus for you. You can always do a few reviews which will be much appreciated and don't take a lot of writing. Just an idea.

I have three novels and an autobiography in my head. Yesterday I worked on two and made very little progress. I almost feel desperate because I am getting older everyday ...

But then, so many people have helped me without asking for anything in return, and not just a few. In any case, I don't ask for help unless I have no other choice.

I don't know if you still can, but you used to be able to buy stamps through the mail. Though that doesn't help the cost. You can buy cheaper stamps for postcards, but then you have to buy the postcard.

It's probably cheaper to just buy regular stamps and use a piece of paper and envelope to send the stuff instead of buying a postcard.

Good luck with Social Security. The website is great, if everything goes smoothly and you fit neatly into the little hole you're supposed to. But if something goes wrong such as forgetting your password or moving and not telling them, things can quickly get complicated.

Enjoy the goodies I send. I'll likely quit when I get back to the US.

straightening

I straightened my room today.... well sort of.

I reorganized my DVD shelves and thought about just getting rid of my CDs. My radio is a piece of doo-doo and I don't have any place to plug it in anyways. I'm already overloading the plugs that I had it in. I'm getting rid of my salt lamp too. Everything looks bare over there now but it looks much better than all the clutter. Oh and I have my CDs playing on my DVD player. Let's hear it for multipurpose tasking.

I rearranged my dresser and put away some of the stuff that has been sitting out waiting for me to get some help fixing it where it goes. There's still a lot of clutter there but some of it can't be helped. i have too much perfume and body sprays but that is far outweighed by all the stuff for my hair......

Finally I rededicated my shrine. I took off almost all the stuff that was on it that wasn't for my magick. Finally I rearranged the shelves so they looked more pleasing and uncluttered. Tomorrow I need to find the magick stuff I have in storage. I have all these incense burners and no incense and I know I have some essential oils .... Not to mention better incense burners and plenty of incense. I need to clean out the stuff in storage and retire some of the stuff I got when I first started out.

I also need to locate some of my stories. I made a commitment to work on Nezoom for this workshop I joined. I also need to find Invitation to Death as that has been on my mind and Rage of Envy. I'm trying to stay away from The House That Wants until I get done with RoE saying it is supposed to be the first book but it's getting complicated. I'll figure it out.

So many things to do, still no real room or time to work on them. Story of my life.
