Acid Tongued

As someone who's been dealing with cutting for the last 8 years, this kind of makes me upset. It is a serious problem. Whether the person is dabbling in it for attention points or has a full blown problem with it, there are reasons for it. It kind of upsets me, as a cutter, when I read all these SHOCK POINT writings out there about it, or meet people who take some sort of morbid PRIDE in cutting. Cutting is not a good thing. It sucks. It, over time, ruins lives and ruins minds. A lot of people deal with this every day and shouldn't be looked down on it for it. I write about my experiences with cutting, but not for some sort of shock or bonus or attention, but to educate people on how bad it is and what it can do to your life. Don't judge all cutting writing - just those using it for some sort of benifit.
Sorry, I just had to rant. I'm just so tired of how epidemic and POPULAR this is getting. It's not a game. It's not fun. It'll hurt you so much in the end. Okay. That's my rant. But check out my portfolio if you're wondering what I'm talking about. Cutting is Taboo, but not cool.
