There is a general word limit count for chapters, depending on your genre. I am not quite sure what the set-up for that is, but it's usually around 3,000-5,000 words or so. *Smile*

Also, when writing a chapter, make sure that everything is set up to catch the reader, explain, then wrap up and foreshadow. There is a lot to do with this. You could probably find the answers at your local library -- many books are dedicated to helping writers write chapters.
