Yeah. It's normal. The first draft is the fun part. That's when you get to play and experiment. The rewriting and editing, that's when writing becomes work.
Granted, there's times during the writing of the first draft when it gets to be work, too, and when rewriting is fun, but for the most part writing = fun and rewriting = work.
