I don't know if it's me or not (definitely could be!), but I 'm not quite making the connections between verses.

As I finished the 2nd verse, I'm thinking of war, but verse 3 takes me... I'm not sure where, a possible rethinking of why (the soldier doing the thinking) is there. If I got 3 right then the final verse represents the doubt and continued searching, I guess.

But I have a feeling I got the whole interpretation wrong.
