Thanks for inviting me, (((Megan))) Yes, I think Mr. Darcy is my favorite character. What I like most about him is how awkward he is in telling Lizzie aobut his feelings for her.

I also like Colonel Fitzwilliam because I think it is Darcy's jealousy over his friendship with Lizzie that propels Darcy to make that feverish proposal. He can see that Fitzwilliam genuinely likes her too. And he knows that Fitzwilliam does not have the problem of having ruined the happiness of her sister.

P & P is definitely my favorite mostly because of the BBC miniseries from the 1990's. Colin Firth is Darcy in my mind.

Then he goes out of his way to do things to help her family, even helping stupid Lydia with her marriage to Wickam.
