Re: Reviewing Symposium 6: new year's resolutions/goals
by Jeannie
Hi Teresa,

Okay ... My goal so far:

I have been working on my "showing, not telling" and it's a slow process. I have been concentrating on what I want to show, and I feel there's progress. As for my novel, I have written three chapters so far. I began by figuring out my characters and what the plot will be about. With this in mind, I began writng and I feel it's coming together nicely. So I'm happy, I'm moving towards the goal I set for myself.

I didn't mention it in my New Year's resolution, but I, too, would like to cut out using "was" so much... but again, it's training yourself to think of another way of expressing what you want to say. It all takes time and dilligence to stick with it and my will is definitely there.*Laugh*.

I won this sig., personalized by Hanna, on the Rock and Roll Auction
