I had been inactive for a while due to many factors including loss of internet and helping my mother with physical therapy due to nearly losing her ability to walk due to complicated issues.
To the point, I have made some progress in my second novel, The Rebirth. I do have one question regarding dragons which is seriously holding me back.
I am trying to make it so that only humans who possess magic can understand the dragon's native language which is telepathic in nature. The dragon's have developed a spoken language, which is sacred to them as what one says may not mirror what one thinks. The question is, because dragons do occasionally communicate with humans, at what age do you think they should learn the human language?
This is important as a young dragon, the princess, will find herself a prisoner of an unscrupulous band of humans who run a traveling circus.
