NAFP Prayer Room

Beloved Yahweh above,

You have heard my Sister's call upon Your Holy Name, and through Your Son Jesus, the Great Physician, we implore You, Jesus to help Cissy recover from all these on-going battles that rage within her body and mind. Please, Lord, give her rest, give her respite, peace of mind and heart. Please Lord, ease her very soul in her concerns over the rest of us, for our troubles are like wisps of wind, blown upon the breezes going past....no more. Let us all concentrate together, ALL OF US here, and at night and in the mornings, after thanking You for yet another gift outright of a day and evening, allow us to pray to You to help our Sister who is in great need. Her words downplay her health battles, she is too humble a believer to ask in loud voice, for she believes in the quietness of Spirit, the quietness of those utter tranquil moments when Your Voice can best be heard. Please Lord, let us be not only excellent listeners of the Word, let us be excellent Do-ers of the Word as well! Give us that extra time today - and everyday - sending praises and encouragements to our beloved Cissy in these tough, TOUGH days and weeks and months ahead. We must gather round, for there is power in not just prayer but EXPONENTIALLY INCREASED PRAYER, prayers said by two.....four.....eight......sixteen.....thirty two.....for in Your Words, you tell us never to forsake the Congregation....and yet at the same moment, you remind us of the simple loving equation that. "Wherever two or more are gathered...."

Father Yahweh, o Great God of ours, consider my words, written from the heart, through my repentant mind, through a soul of askance.....please bring our Sister and Chief back to robust health and happiness. She is an incredible anchor for this Tribe - and for those outside of this Tribe as well. As for me, I will always be her Brother, and she....my Sister. Sometimes I wonder if when Sisters pray for Brothers, Brothers for Sisters, that somehow...in some way, shape or form.....that when Love is this strong and apparent, that our prayers might somehow arrive at Your Ear at the speed of the Light of the Lord! AMEN!!!
