I'm no expert by a long shot of the imagination but I would imagine that with candy binging you gained weight and your body is getting sugar from the fat stored up. I think that's my problem although my doctor flat rejected giving me a glucose tolerance test. She said that my A1c was low enough to indicate that there was no problem.
