It is so hard to lose a beloved pet. I love all of my pets. We have had two cats and when we lost them, my children and I mourned for weeks. It is the same with the dogs we have had. You are right, the are your family and they have loved us unconditionally. I am so sorry for your loss. Time heals, but you always have the wonderful memories of them.
