Second, it doesn't matter how or where you make the count happen (be safe doing it, though, okay? ), so long as the words get to the page.

What your friends say about thinking better with their fingers is true and it frustrated me to no end at the beginning. Your brain adapts, though. The only thing I find is that my writing still slips into a more casual, or conversational, tone when I dictate for a long period of time.
