Dave opened the box he had taken out of the mailbox. It was from his grandpa. “That can’t be right, Grandpa’s dead.” Dave muttered as he plopped down on his couch and opened the box. It was a pendant, attached to a a gold string. “Um, thanks grandpa?” Dave said, noticing the note beneath the pendant.

“Dave, you always were my favorite grandson, so I’m giving you my most prized possession, a wishing pendant. If you put it on it will grant the wishes of people around you when spoken aloud. Just be careful –“ The door across the room flew open, interrupting Dave’s reading. It was…
