The first incident.

As they talk, Michelle happens to glance down, noticing a strange, glittering ring on the ground, a simple golden band, that shined as if heavily polished. Reaching down, she picks it up, Grace watching.

"Hey, a ring!"
"Maybe it slipped off someone's finger while they were waiting for the bus?"
As Michelle puts it on her finger, she suddenly shoots down to the sidewalk, decreasing dramatically in height until she's only a quarter inch in size, the ring clattering to the sidewalk beside her. Gasping, Grace looks down in awe of what has just taken place.
