Bec went into the living room where her mother was sitting.

"Oh hey. You want to watch with us?"

Bec didn't answer. Instead, she just pressed random words on the device.

"Bec, are you listening?"

Bec still didn't answer.

"Excuse me, I'm talking to you!"

After a minute, Bec looked up at her mother, then back down at the device.

"Oops."
"What do you mean, 'oops'?"
"You've, erm...you've changed."
"What change? I've been like this my entire life."
